Fans of the classic 1990s show helmed by acclaimed director David Lynch are having the best few months of their lives, as the "Twin Peaks" 2015 sequel moves forward for its 2017 release - and now, the people behind the scenes have announced another major breakthrough for the show: a themed diner!
For those who have been asking for "fine coffee and cherry pie" for the past twenty years at diners where they might not get the reference, the "Twin Peaks" 2015 diner in central London will be the perfect place to hang out this summer.
According to The Independent, this new "Twin Peaks" 2015 diner will run for just a few weeks during the summer as an "immersive dining experience" that ties in with the show and its 2017 return, following the new London trend of pop-up restaurants that already includes HBO's cult favorite epic, "Game of Thrones."
Standard UK reports that the "Twin Peaks" 2015 diner evenings will be called "The Owls Are Not What They Seem," and they'll include a three-course meal filled with interactive elements, as well as a late-night drinking area that will even feature secret missions.
The location of the "Twin Peaks" 2015 diner is being kept secret, though it's known the evenings will be hosted somewhere in central London from August 27 to October 17, with tickets going on sale from July 17 on the diner's website.
Of course, the themed diner is a way to advertise the upcoming sequel, which has just been confirmed as having 18 episodes, 9 more than had been previously announced.
According to Metro, tickets for a dinner at the "Twin Peaks" 2015 themed diner will be costing £65 ($101), while just hanging out at the bar will cost £5 ($7.80) to be a part of the immersive experience this year, and, of course, they will be serving fine coffee and cherry pie.
