Tina Fey, Amy Poehler Promote New Film ‘Sisters’, Plays ‘True Confessions’ With Jimmy Fallon On ‘The Tonight Show’, [WATCH]

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took time to visit fellow "Saturday Night Live" alumni Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday.

The hilarious duo of Fey and Poehler were guests on Jimmy Fallon's night talk show to promote their new film, "Sisters." In fact, the movie's trailer premiered that night.

But before the two showed everyone what to expect from the new movie, the "Weekend Update" anchors first played a game of "True Confessions."

Jimmy Fallon introduced the game by saying, "I'll need two more players to fill out this table."

He then goes on to introduce Tina Fey, "The first one is a multiple Emmy Award winner, a New York Times best-selling author. She was also my partner on 'Weekend Update' at 'Saturday Night Live.' Say hello to Tina Fey, ladies and gentlemen!"

Fallon introduced Amy Poehler in a very similar fashion. "She is a Golden Globe Award winner, she is also a New York Times best-selling author. She was also your [Tina's] partner on 'Weekend Update.'"

Each player had two sealed envelopes, one containing a lie, and the other containing a true anecdote. The two other players had 60 seconds to ask questions and when the time was up, had to determine if the occurrence was a lie or not.

The real life-friends couldn't stop laughing and pointing jokes towards each other, and it's equally funny for everyone else tuning in. Watch the hilarious game play out below.

After the game was finished, Amy Poehler revealed what her truth envelope contained, before talking about the film's plot with Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey.

Take a look at Amy Poehler's true confession and how Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hilariously outline the story for "Sisters."

Catch the two "Weekend Update" anchors along with Maya Rudolph in their film as it hits theatres on December 18th.

Unfortunately, the trailer that was revealed on "The Tonight Show" doesn't seem sufficient enough. But there's a longer version of it! Watch the full trailer of "Sisters" starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler:
