Age Beautifully With Cindy Crawford’s Anti-Ageing Secrets [PHOTOS]

Supermodels are typically some of the best people to go to when looking for beauty tips, advice and even secrets. Cindy Crawford is no exception to that rule and Into The Gloss just shared even more beauty tricks straight from the 49-year-old supermodel.

Crawford first noted two important things about beauty, which is "confidence and passion." She says, "It's the way you carry yourself, trusting that what you have to say is interesting, being engaged and having that spark of excitement in your eye. That's beautiful."

"I'm a huge fan of double-duty beauty - because good things take time, and none of us have enough of it," Cindy explains. The mom-of-two shares that she tries to incorporate beauty treatments with her workouts.

In fact, she puts "pre-wash conditioner" on her hair before she does a workout, since she'll definitely be washing her hair after. She also says she's "obsessed with the Lush Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Eaze Hair Treatment."

As for blowdrys, Cindy says she likes to make the most out of it due to brittle ends as a result of years of constant styling and coloring.

She shares, "I found that if I sleep in a loose topknot, when I wake up in the morning, my hair is still smooth and has the added benefit of having some pretty waves as a result."

"The key: DO NOT use a ponytail holder. Instead, I secure it with one very large bobby pin. This way, it doesn't get frizzy and there are no marks," Crawford adds.

One body part that's often neglected is the neck. But Cindy puts high regard on exercising and keeping her neck muscles toned, as it also "helps preserve" the jaw line.

The answer: chin exercises! Cindy does three sets of ten repetitions simply by pointing her chin upwards and lifting her head an inch off the ground.

The supermodel also swears by dry brushing. She uses a brush all over her body, noting that she's "always brushing toward my heart."

Crawford explains that this method helps get rid of dead skin, "[it invigorates the] body, stimulates [the] lymphatic system, [reduces] cellulite, and [decongests] the skin."

She also puts Neutrogena Body Oil all over her body in between a shower and drying off the body. Crawford lets the oil seep in through the skin for a few seconds before actually towel-drying herself.

Lastly, Cindy puts high regard on indulging and relaxing. In fact, she sits in an infrared sauna for 20 minutes at least once a week to detoxify her body.

Crawford also adds that the infrared sauna is less harsh than a normal one, because its "gentle, soothing and therapeutic heat" allows her to relax and "improves her sleep."

Much like a Japanese hot spring, an infrared sauna also helps boost collagen production to combat wrinkles, "improve circulation" and develop a better skin tone.

 Enough said. #Weekend.
