Mayweather Beaten by Woman in ESPY’s ‘Best Fighter Award

Ronda Rousey, according to Yahoo Sports, took home the Best Fighter Award in the annual ESPY Awards last July 15 at Los Angles.  Rousey beat out other nominees who were incidentally all male, including a very infamous Floyd Mayweather.

Mayweather, once asked about Rousey, and replied he had no idea who he is.  UFC Champ Rousey now strikes back, adding insult to the loss, when she quips during her interviews about 'how Floyd feels being beat by a woman', referring to her 'Best Fighter Award.'

Rousey was referring to more than just the 'Best Fighter Award'. Mayweather has had 6 charges of domestic violence, and spent two months in jail.

Other nominees for the award were UFC fighter Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone, Gennady Golovkin and Terrance Crawford.

In last year's ESPY Awards, Rousey won the Best Female Athlete, but lost out to Mayweather in the Best Fighter.

Rousey, 28, is a mixed martial arts (MMA) champion, an Olympic medalist in judo, current UFC Bantamweight champion.  She is also called by other names - 'Rowdy' and 'Arm Collector'.

This Best Fighter Awardee is also an actress.  Last year, she appeared in 'Expendables 3'.  This year she joins the casts in 'Furious 7' and 'Entourage'.  With her fit body and beautiful smile, she has also graced the covers of topnotch magazines Maxim, ESPN The Magazine and Sports Illustrated.  She has appeared in various commercials and endorsements, the biggest one is last year's deal with Reebok.

Her diet regimen used to be strict vegan, but these days, she mixes the Paleo and Warrior diet.

This ESPY (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award) is a tribute given to individual or group athletes presented by ESPN.  The athlete with the most ESPY trophies is Tiger Woods with 21 awards.  In this year's ceremony, Caitlyn Jenner, the former Olympian Bruce Jenner, was given the 'Arthur Ashe Courage Award'.
