It was only a matter of time before Lily-Rose Depp landed an official role with Chanel. Everyone took a moment to stop and stare, and then decided that she would become the next huge it-girl as she was first spotted on the Chanel Metiers d’Art show red carpet back in March.
Now, after playing roulette at Chanel's AW '15 Haute Couture show, the 16-year-old has become the official face of the French fashion house.
Lily has been enlisted by Karl Lagerfeld himself for the Pearl eyewear collection. She looks stunning in Chanel and the campaign only solidifies her stylish star power.
Lily-Rose is the daughter of Johnny Depp and longtime Chanel muse Vanessa Paradis. She has become everyone's favorite topic of discussion and obsession.
Not only is Vanessa a Chanel muse and personal friend of Karl’s, but she has served as an ambassador of the French fashion house since 1990.
Lily was most recently seen at the brand's Haute Couture show in Paris last week, alongside her mother, who has worked with Chanel since 1990.
"Lily-Rose is stunning, she's a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star," Karl said in a press release announcing the campaign.
Sporting round frames studded eyewear with precious white beads in the ad, Depp is depicted as a “baby doll in a world imbued with sweetness and femininity.”
Dark lips added a little edge to the sweet look as she rocked a white button-down blouse, which features embroidery on the collar and the sleeves. Lily looks simply stunning as her hair is in a tousled bob.
Karl photographed the teen for the stunning campaign, and Lily looks like a real-life doll, all decked out in Chanel.
Whether or not Lily-Rose intended to follow her mother's footsteps but her fashionable future is certainly looking bright.
