While the rest of the HBO show "Game of Thrones" barely caught up with George R. R. Martin's series of books of "A Song of Ice and Fire" this year, the story of the oldest remaining son of Ned and Catelyn Stark did so over the past season, being absent from this one - but Bran Stark's 2015 return has been confirmed!
Isaac Hemsptead-Wright, the 16 year-old actor "Game of Thrones" fans have seen grow as the young wolf, recently confirmed Bran Stark's 2015 return to the show - and with that, possibly the return of another favorite character, Hodor (played by Kristian Nairn).
According to CNET, Wright recently confirmed Bran Stark's 2015 return for the show's sixth season after the character was completely absent from the fifth one, and he was being as cryptic as fans of the show and books would expect - but it's great news that he'll be around at all!
"I can't say a lot but I am back this season, and it's going to get particularly interesting with Bran. He has some interesting visions," the actor told the Irish Examiner regarding Bran Stark's 2015 return, then adding what he knew about the season he wasn't in. "I missed the whole of the last season because it was right in the middle of my exams, so I didn't have the time to watch it. But I'm looking forward to getting with some friends and binge-watching it all."
Of course, as every cast member these days, he was also asked whether Kit Harington, who plays his half-brother Jon Snow in the show, would be coming back for the sixth season - which he says he doesn't know, although Harington himself told him he wouldn't.
Business Insider reports that, while HBO didn't confirm Bran Stark's 2015 return to the show, rumor has it the young actor would begin shooting scenes later this month.
With Bran Stark's 2015 return to "Game of Thrones", fans will get a few more intense visions about Westeros, definitely missing from this season!
