The sixth season of 'Game of Thrones' is getting ready to film scenes in scenic locations this year. The HBO series has just issued a casting call for young actors who are willing to work in late July. The scenes will be shot in gorgeous Valencia, Spain.
Valencia isn't the only place 'Game of Thrones' will be filming in. Canal Plus has just confirmed several Spanish locales, including the Natural Park of the Barnedas and Castillo de Santa Florentina.
One notable location was the gorgeous Castillo de Zafra, which is in Guadalajara. The 12th century castle appears to have been built on top of a rocky terrain.

The rock castle looks eerily like a certain storied tower that housed a certain Targaryen and a certain Stark in a certain 'A Song of Ice and Fire' legend.
[SPOILERS AHEAD]
Fans have immediately speculated that the Zafra Castle will be used as the Tower of Joy in a possible flashback sequence.
It was previously reported that 'Game of Thrones' is looking to cast a 'Legendary Fighter' who is believed to be Ser Arthur Dayne, who once protected Prince Rhaegar Targaryen when he hid away in the tower. The Crown Prince had allegedly abducted Ned Stark's sister Lyanna and brought her to the Tower of Joy.

Fans believe that the flackback sequence will finally reveal what happened in the Tower of Joy, and why Lyanna Stark ended up in a pool of blood. The Tower of Joy scene may also confirm whether Jon Snow is truly the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna.
The R+L=J theory suggests that Lyanna was not kidnapped, but had eloped with Rhaegar. The result of their short-lived union is said to be Jon Snow, who Ned took as his own after Lyanna died of childbirth.
The Castillo de Zafra will be seen in its full glory when 'Game of Thrones' Season Six airs in 2016.
