Last May, ET confirmed that Jordin Sparks was in a relationship with rapper, Sage the Gemini. The reports came out less than a year after Jordin broke up with boyfriend Jason Derulo who she dated for three years.
Sparks posted pictures of them on the Instagram, and when pressed during an interview about their relationship, she was not into casual relationships, and she does not just kiss anybody. Love is on full dose for this American Idol winner and the rapper known for the hit, 'No Air'. His name in real life is Dominic Wynn Woods.
Sparks, 25, admits she sees marriage in the relationship, but they have not talked about it yet. However, boyfriend Sage already refers to her as 'my wife.'
Their relationship came after the high-profile break up of Sparks with Derulo. And right after admitting on media about Sage, his ex-fiancée came forward with well-meant messages for Sparks sent through private message in Instagram. According to Curium Hurley, Sage proposed to her last January so technically, when Sage began dating Sparks, he was cheating on Hurley. She gave the warning to Sparks 'woman to woman'.
Sparks is busy these days finishing her album, 'Right Here, Right Now'. It is her first full-length release since 2009. She refers to her music as more mature, more personal. She won the 6th season of the American Idol in 2007, when she was only 17 years old. She holds the title as the youngest winner in Idol history. Her self-titled debut album sold 2 million copies worldwide. In her 8-year career, she has had guest appearances in TV series, appeared in Broadway, made a feature film, and launched her own line of perfume. She has also had numerous nominations and awards as a singer and song writer, the more recent is at the BMI Pop Music Awards as songwriter for Ariana Grande's 'The Way'.
