There is nothing on TV right now that could possibly compare to the BBC America series 'Orphan Black.' The show's third season was a captivating combination of science fiction, mystery and romance, with a dash of comedy, drama and horror.
BBC America seems to be well aware of the several possibilities in the series, because the network unveiled 'Orphan Black' parody trailers spliced up from scenes from the show.
The first parody features the suburban druggies Alison and Donnie Hendrix. 'Me and My Monitor!' even has a soundtrack that sounds like the 'Friends' theme song and points out that Donnie has accepted Alison's sestras.
'Las Drogas del Amor' is still about Donnie and Alison, but this time, the parody turns their story into a telenovela.
The suspense-filled parody trailer for 'Seestra Sineestra' features the blonde clone Helena, who moved in with Alison and Donnie and immediately changed the way the couple dealt with things.
'Orphan Black' had more presentations for Comic-Con. Actress Tatiana Maslany, who perfectly plays all the clones in the show, may appear to always keep her cool in her scenes. However, the 'Orphan Black' blooper reel reveals that she does make some occasional mistakes.
The blooper reel also shows that Maslany has no problem staying in character and maintaining her accent in every scene.
In addition to Maslany, the 'Orphan Black' Comic-Con panel also included Jordan Gavaris, Maria Doyle Kennedy and Dylan Bruce. Show creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson were also in attendance.
Fans who wanted to know if Delphine (played by Evelyne Brochu) would survive the season finale shooting. Manson had a sad response. "Nobody's safe, but she's 'Orphan Black' dead," he said.
"It's a mystery, guys," Fawcett added. "There's a reason why it's a mystery."
'Orphan Black' Season Four will return to BBC America in 2016.
