Ariana Grande Off The Hook! Singer Will Not Be Charged For Licking Donuts [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Ariana Grande will not be charged for her donut licking incident last week. The 22-year-old star does not have to worry about adding criminal mischief to her record, according to a Monday report.

The victimized donut shop is partially to blame for letting Grande walk free. TMZ reports the owner declined to press charges against the singer.

Last week, surveillance footage leaked of Ariana licking unattended donuts and shouting "I hate America" at Wolfee Donuts in Lake Elsinore, California.

It is interesting to note that Ariana seemingly won't suffer any legal backlash from the incident even though it was reported that the shop had failed a health inspection due to the incident.

The business was told one of the reasons for it not passing the check was down to "customers licking donuts incorrectly placed on counter," reported TMZ at the time.

"We got a B because the donuts were on top of the tray, and we were actually stocking up," Joe Marin, owner of the shop said. "My employees kept going in the back and grabbing some more. They were minor things, little, tiny, minor things that were fixed in three days."

Ariana is not mentioned by name in the report, but the site says a manager told the inspector that the employee didn't know Ariana had licked the sugary sweets, and placed them back in display case for sale.

Ariana has apologized multiple times for saying she hates America but did not mention the Wolfee Donut shop once in the entire clip.

"I just wanted to make a video to apologise again for the whole donut fiasco and craziness because I feel like the apology I posted, I kind of missed my opportunity to actually sincerely apologise and express how I was feeling," she said.

"I was too busy preaching about my issues with the food industry, which is not, I feel like, relative."

Ariana went on to explain that the incident was a "rude awakening" after seeing the video of the incident.
