Watch: Olivia Munn Has To Get Lubed Up In Order To Fit Into Psylocke Costume for Xmen: Apocalypse

Actress Olivia Munn just shared some rather revealing details about her upcoming role in Xmen: Apocalypse. During last Saturday's episode of TBS' Conan, which featured Munn and the rest of her mutant co-stars, host Conan O'Brien asked the 35 year old actress if the on screen take of her character Psylocke will bear any physical resemblance to the original comic book version.

Munn told O'Brien that Apocalypse's adaptation of Psylocke will remain faithful to its print origins, complete with Purple hair and the rather revealing latex body suit the character is known for. However, Munn says that fans shouldn't expect parts of her Psylocke's anatomy (i.e. Breast and Butt areas) to be as physically gifted as some of the comic portrayals of the telekinetic mutant.

Munn's co-star James McAvoy, once again reprising his role as master telepath Prof. Charles Xavier, quipped that she needed a lot of help slipping into her costume. She then recounted the first day of filming, where she says that two assistants and a lot of lubricant were needed to slip into Psylocke's outfit. Here's how she put it:

"They lube me down and I step into this latex. We did a whole latex fitting. ...I was just so excited, and then I went 'Okay, I want to do a really good job,' and I just popped the crotch."

Her story caused O'Brien and his sidekick Andy Richter to "Black out" and incited more than a few laughs from her other co-stars such as Nicolas Hoult, Michael Fassbender, and Oscar Isaac.

X-Men: Apocalypse is due in theatres on May 16, 2016. The film, directed by series overseer Bryan Singer, features an all-star cast of mutants lead by Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence). Joining them will be newcomers such as Psylocke (Munn), and Jean Grey (Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner).
