Expectant fans of the upcoming live action adaptation of 'World of Warcraft' stormed into the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), and they were not disappointed. The cast and crew of the film had a panel in Hall H and presented the first official 'Warcraft' trailer, which will be publicly released in November.
'Warcraft' issued the two official posters as well, which features Lothar (Travis Fimmel) and Durotan (Toby Kebbel). The two warriors represent the opposing sides, which are The Alliance and The Horde.
An excerpt of the official synopsis reads as follows:
"The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction.
"From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something."
'Warcraft' also promises to be faithful to the original Blizzard game's storyline and feel. Actor Robert Kazinsky, who will play Orgrim in the film, attests by the movie.
"I'm a gamer and I know what I'm expecting, I know what you're expecting from this thing, and I promise you [director] Duncan Jones has made the movie you want to see," he told fans at the SDCC panel.
The elaborate costumes of The Alliance and the impressive props of The Horde were also on display at SDCC.
