Expect to see Gal Gadot's version of Wonder Woman to fight off bad guys in a pair of high heels.
Although the costumes of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman were already revealed at the Las Vegas Licensing Expo last month, the DC display at the San Diego Comic Con seemed to have reached a wider audience.
Fans were amazed by the details on the costumes, especially on Wonder Woman's Amazonian outfit. However, it looks like the part of the costume that is leaving an impression is Wonder Woman's shoes.
This isn't the first time SDCC revealed Wonder Woman's costume, since a promotional picture of Gal Gadot as the Amazonian princess debuted in Comic Con last year. However, the display offered a closer inspection of her shoes, which are actually gladiator boots with a wedge heel.

@ForbesGames @Forbes wonder woman is for men. men likes heels. girls don't like comics, they like the kardashians. get your own hobby. — Alexander Bauer (@BreakOnThrough_) July 9, 2015
Meanwhile, other Twitter users considered Wonder Woman's choice of shoes as sensible and somehow empowering.
What's awesome about Wonder Woman is that she can do everything that Superman can, but in heels.

Lauren Orsini of Forbes wrote about the controversial shoe. "You're not crazy for thinking Wonder Woman's sartorial choices should be her own business," she wrote.
"The problem is, Wonder Woman isn't a real woman making choices of her own. She's a fictional creation made by men, about to star in a movie meticulously primed to appeal to men."

Orsini pointed out that Comic Con's attendance is 49% female, and that these women are not prone to believe that "Wonder Woman 'chose' for herself to wear a sexy but less-efficient costume."
"They can put Wonder Woman in whatever shoes they want," she concluded. "Just don't think it says anything about real women."
Wonder Woman will appear as one of the main characters in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.' She will to star in her own DC standalone film.
'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' will premiere on March 25, 2016.
