It was an exciting time at the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) when the cast of 'Doctor Who' took over Hall H on Thursday. The panel included show creator Steven Moffat, Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman and Michelle Gomez.
The crew graciously answered questions, which were mostly about the return of Missy (Michelle Gomez) in the ninth season.
"The way Missy comes back into the Doctor's life is not something you'd predict," Moffat said. "It's very, very different."
Gomez also revealed that The Master and the Doctor have a strange relationship.
"It's kind of like the best friend that you love to hate, this great friendship that just went wrong," she explained. "It's her life's purpose to chase the Doctor and make him realize that 'No, you started it. I'm right.'"
Moffat confirmed her statement. "They are friends," he said. "It's friendship between a vegetarian and a hunter."
Michelle Gomez offered the perfect comparison. "We both kill a lot of people," she said about Missy and the Time Lord. "He feels bad about it, I don't."

The new trailer for 'Doctor Who' Season Nine was also revealed, and it featured a cameo from 'Game of Thrones' star Maisie Williams.
Williams appears at the last moment of the trailer, removing her mask to reveal her identity to the Doctor. "You!" he exclaims.
Williams has a snappy response. "What took you so long, old man?" she asked.
It was previously confirmed that Maisie Williams will have a guest appearance on 'Doctor Who,' but details on her character are yet to be revealed. However, Jenna Coleman, who plays Clara in the show, did talk about Williams' character's relationship with the others.
"It's a very surprising and intriguing storyline with her connection to us and her connection to the Doctor," she revealed.
The ninth season of 'Doctor Who' will air on BBC America on September 19, 2015.
