Is Russell Wilson Gay? Asks a Radio Host

Chicago sports radio host, Dan Bernstein, implied over his radio show The Score on "Boers and Bernstein" aired on WSCR670 that perhaps Russell Wilson was gay, as reported in Sports Yahoo.

This is in the wake of the social media posts about the Seahawks star saying he and girlfriend, Ciara, are abstaining from sex before marriage. Russell is very outspoken about his faith as a Christian. He made this admission about his sex life, or the absence thereof, to Pastor Miles McPherson of the Rock Church in San Diego.

Bernstein made the implication when a listener of their radio program texted asking if perhaps Russell Wilson had the same view about sex while he was married to his ex-wife, Ashton Meen, whom he divorced in 2014 amidst allegations of her extra-marital affairs with other players.

Current girlfriend, Ciara, full name Ciara Princess Harris, is a pop singer with a new album titled, 'Jackie". Russell met her while she was on tour in April this year, and claims God told him to "lead Ciara". He says, "God had brought me into her life to bless her, and for her to bless me." Ciara has a child from a previous relationship with rapper, Future, to whom she was engaged to before he got caught having a relationship with his wardrobe consultant.

Russell is the quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks who led the team to win over Denver 43-8 in the Super Bowl last year. He is now on his last year of his rookie deal which pays him a measly $ 1.5 million. Talks have been flying between Russell's camp and the Seahawks management, and the price of $ 100 million has been mentioned, but nothing definite has been agreed yet. If no agreement is made, then Russell can be a free agent in 2016.

Russell's last word regarding their sexual abstinence: "If you can really love someone without that, then you can really love somebody."
