Subway Jared Child Pornography Scandal: Fogle Allegedly Had Porn Business In College

The beloved sandwich connoisseur Jared Fogle, better known as Jared from Subway, recently had his home raided in relations to child pornography allegations.

According to Fox 59, several federal agents were accompanied by the Indiana State Police to Subway Jared's Indiana home. The raid of Fogle's house in Zionville was only part of an ongoing investigation on his former associate Russell Taylor.

Taylor had previously been the executive producer of Fogle's The Jared Foundation, which helped children adopt healthy eating habits. Taylor was arrested in April for the possession and production of child pornography.

Although the Subway Jared Child Pornography Scandal has shocked the world, this is not the first time that Jared Fogle has been associated with such allegations.

According to VH1, Subway Jared had reportedly rented out lewd videos from a porn library he ran from his college dorm.

"Fogle ran a very successful pornography rental company out of his bedroom," the website reported. "His porn collection was vast and extensive, and Fogle took his business pretty seriously. A video would run a patron a dollar a day (cheap!), and people would come from all over to take advantage of the deal."

Fogle rose to fame when he managed to lose several pounds from thriving solely on Subway sandwiches. The food chain has even turned Fogle into a spokesperson for Subway.

As soon as the child pornography investigation hit the news, Subway released a statement about their concern for Fogle. A few hours later, Subway's Twitter account had a follow-up statement.

"Subway and Jared Fogle have mutually agreed to suspend their relationship due to the current investigation. Jared continues to cooperate with authorities and he expects no actions to be forthcoming. Both Jared and Subway agree that this was the appropriate step to take."

Fox 59 reported that Subway Jared has not been arrested or detained, nor has he been charged of any crime. He is currently cooperating with the investigation.
