Food Network star Bobby Flay was seen over the July 4 weekend spree at Scarpetta Beach with young girls in their 20's, according to news. The superstar chef is going through a nasty divorce from his wife of 10 years, Stephanie March of "Law & Order: SVU".
Despite the young party crowd, though, Chef Bobby was rather well-behaved. Infact, news says his daughter, Sophie, from marriage no. 2, was part of the group whose restaurant tab the chef paid for. News insinuate the chef's preference for the younger women amidst nasty rumors that his young assistant, Elyse Tirrell, was one of the reasons for the divorce. In a recent event, when the chef was given his own Hollywood star in the Walk of Fame, the cheer of the day was upstaged by the banner with the word, "Cheater", flying overhead.
March is not a happy ex-wife-to-be. She has a pre-nup with the chef, signed before their marriage in 2005, that gives her a mere $ 5,000 monthly allowance. Her lawyers want a more hefty share, given that Flay is listed in the Forbes' richest, estimated at $ 9million. The legal camp of March claims his worth is $ 20 million. There has been a lot of mudslinging between parties, with the chef cancelling the credit card of March.
A big bulk of Chef Flay's earnings come from his being a restaurateur, reality tv star and author of cookbook. His 12 restaurants are found all over the country. He has 8 tv shows, not counting his guest appearances.
Flay was twice married before his marriage to March, and was hoping the third one was the charm. At the end of the fray, news speculate the ex-wife will be given more than what was listed in the pre-nup as a token of goodwill by the superstar chef.
