Jennifer Lawrence And Chris Martin Spent 4th Of July Weekend Together Despite Break-up Rumors

Amid rumors swirling about Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin splitting up, insiders just confirmed that the Coldplay singer and the Hunger Games actress are still on and going strong.

Over the holiday weekend, the couple was seen together at the Big Apple, putting on and off splitting rumors to rest. On Friday, a source told People Magazine that Lawrence and Martin were walking near Manhattan's Central Park.

"They were walking arm-in-arm, in a hurry it seemed," an insider told People. "It looked like they were dressed for date night."

The couple also celebrated Fourth of July together riding their bikes in Battery Park. "Just saw Jennifer Lawrence and the dude from Coldplay riding their bikes lol," an eye witness tweeted.

Before rumors of breaking up came out, the 38 year-old Rock singer was seen with his 24-year-old Hollywood actress girlfriend in early June at a U2 Concert in Inglewood's Fabulous Forum. In a private after-party in Chateau Marmont, the couple reportedly "held hands and looked very happy" in the same room with other A-list couples Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and George and Amal Clooney.

The couple who is dating for almost a year was photographed leaving the party, taking the back seat of U2 singer, Bono's car. The Coldplay front-man placed his hands on J-Law's lap as the paparazzi snapped their way out.

A pal shared previously that Chris and Jennifer are working it out despite their busy schedules. "Both have full plates and they like it that way. They see each other when they can, yet each continues to do their own thing. They respect each other immeasurably," she said.

"They have been spending a lot of time together," another insider told People, adding that the "Fix You" singer is "happier than ever," he even "made an effort to get to know her friends."

The Grammy Winner began dating the Oscar best actress in August 2014, after his divorce with another Hollywood A-lister, Gwyneth Paltrow. Martin and Paltrow had two kids, 11-year-old Apple and 9-year-old Moses and have remained friends since.
