‘Minority Report’ Show: Nick Zano Joins Cast Of Tom Cruise Remake Fox Series – As Precog!

Fans of the science fiction cult film directed by Steven Spielberg will be pleased to know how the casting choices continue for the upcoming series based up the book and 2002 movie, as the new "Minority Report" show has just added "One Big Happy" actor Nick Zano!

It has been reported that Zano's role in the "Minority Report" show will be that of Precog Arthur (for "precognitive"), one of the characters that identified criminals before they even committed crimes to keep a perfectly safe society - in the movie, Arthur had a twin brother as well as a foster sister, though it is still not entirely clear whether it'll happen the same way in the Fox series adaptation.

According to Deadline, it seems like the "Minority Report" show won't be featuring identical twins for the roles of the precogs, but rather Zano as Arthur while Dash (Stark Sands) will be playing his fraternal twin, as the series is set to gender swap the characters.

While in the original film, Cruise played a police detective named John Anderton that kidnaps precog Agatha (Samantha Morton), on the "Minority Report" show, it will be policewoman Lara Vega (Meagan Good) teaming up with Dash.

Variety reports that originally Sands had been cast to play both identical twins in the "Minority Report" show, as he did on the pilot, but plans have been changed since and it was ultimately decided that the two characters would be played by different actors.

The character description for Zano's role, Arthur, is described as having a "hard shell," having had a lot history of difficult experiences in the outside world, unlike his twin brother.

According to The Wrap, in fact Zano's character uses his abilities of precognition to improve himself through power and wealth, while Dash takes the much more selfless approach of helping prevent murders.

The "Minority Report" show will premiere on Fox on September 21.
