America Ferrera Saying Thank You to Donald Trump - For being Incredibly Ignorant and Racist

The American actress America Ferrera, who is known for her leading role as Betty Suarez on the ABC comedy-drama series Ugly Betty, Ferrera didn't throw any unpleasant words against Donald Trump on his derogatory comments about Mexican immigrants, instead  the actress is thanking the CEO for it.

In a piece published on the Huffington Post, America Ferrera stated,"I heard what you said about the kind of people you think Latino immigrants are -- people with problems, who bring drugs, crime and rape to America. While your comments are incredibly ignorant and racist, I don't want to spend my time chastising you," Ferrera also added: "Instead, I'm writing to say thank you!"

When the CEO Trump revealed his Republican presidential ornomination, then described the U.S. as "a dumping ground for everybody else's problems" and the U.S. government must reduce Mexican immigrants, responsible for bringing their problems, drugs, crime and rape stateside. The claim created a massive negative reaction, which has been expressed online.

Ferrera stated, in the comments of Mr. Trump that he failed to see that the immigrants are what have made the U.S. nation. She also said that the immigrants are the core of their ideas and the foundation that keeps the nation going.

America Ferrera said: "Your negativity and your poorly thought out speech ignited a fire in our community," Ferrera also added "Thank you, Mr. Trump! Thank you for reminding us that there remains an antiquated and endangered species of bigots in this country that we must continue to combat. Thank you for reminding us to not sit complacently at home on election day, but to run to the polls and proclaim that there is no place for your brand of racial politicking in our government."

America Ferrera has been very active with the Clinton Foundation, as identified as the Hillary and Chelsea Clinton's "No Ceilings" initiative, but it was confirmed that she is not officially part of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
