Macy's recently decided to stop consigning Donald Trump's clothing line in its various stores amid the controversial criticisms "The Apprentice" host had said about Mexican immigrants.
The criticisms came earlier this month, when Trump was announcing that he's running for president. However, those comments didn't sit well with Macy's, a company that "stands for diversity and inclusion," as described by Entertainment Tonight.

"We have no tolerance for discrimination in any form. We welcome all customers, and respect for the dignity of all people is a cornerstone of our culture. We are disappointed and distressed by recent remarks about immigrants from Mexico," explained Macy's in a statement.
The statement released on Wednesday adds, "We do not believe the disparaging characterizations portray an accurate picture of the many Mexicans, Mexican Americans and Latinos who have made so many valuable contributions to the success of our nation."

"In light of statements made by Donald Trump, which are inconsistent with Macy's values, we have decided to discontinue our business relationship with Mr. Trump and will phase-out the Trump menswear collection, which has been sold at Macy's since 2004," the statement continued.
But Donald Trump is denying those allegations as he spoke with the publication on Wednesday.

"They don't feel the same way I do about illegal immigration. One of the things that has always bothered me, and it haunts me is what China is doing with their currency manipulation. They make my ties and they make my shirts, and I've always hated it. So I said to Macy's, let's just forget it," Trump explained.
He further noted that it's actually more than that. "If I do it again, and we did well with the ties and the shirts, I would try and find some place in America with ties and shirts, but it's hard to find because China, Mexico, Japan, almost everybody - they're taking our business. They're taking business away from us, like we're children," Donald defended.

However, Macy's isn't the only company keeping their distance from the presidential candidate. NBC and Univision announced just recently that they wouldn't be featuring the Miss USA pageant on their networks this year (Donald Trump is a co-owner of the organization).
Even the pageant's co-hosts, Roselyn Sanchez and Cheryl Burke, opted to forego their participation with the program this year.
