NBC Fires Donald Trump After Racist Comments, Miss USA and Miss Universe Both Cancelled

The tables have turned when Donald Trump, who used to fire people on his hit reality TV "The Apprentice," is now being fired by the network NBC because of his derogatory statements about illegal immigrants crossing the borders of America from Mexico.

The Daily Mail reported that this news also gravely affected his candidacy and it's looking like in a good way with regards to him being with the Republican's side. His poll has just gone up to second place since he made his controversial remark. Meanwhile, Trump announced that he is also planning of filing charges against the network for cutting ties with him because his "politically correct" motives.

CNN said that since this is the case, Trump's known Miss USA pageant that is scheduled to air on July 12 on the said network would no longer continue. The Miss Universe pageant was also cancelled and it was supposed to be watched on January of next year. NBC also co-owns the pageants and decided to no longer do business with Trump in line with the recent incident.

As of Tuesday morning, the pageant organizers they were disheartened on what happened but they said that the show will still go on. There is no TV network handling it as of now since it has been booted out by NBC. The network made a statement on Monday saying, ""At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values." It was on a campaign event in Chicago that the network made this official press release about them ending their business relationship with Trump.

USA Today got a hold of Trump's side about the issue and he said, "As far as ending the relationship, I have to do that because my view on immigration is much different than the people at NBC.''
