Famous author E.L James of the best selling novel "Fifty Shades of Gray" made a huge mistake of taking to Twitter on Monday, June 29, 15, her live Q&A for fans and everyone in the world to ask her about her book.
The author who made Fifty Shades of Grey a controversial novel and movie announced on Twitter that anyone could ask her anything about her work. All they have to do is add the #AskELJames on their twitter post for her to see it and respond. It was a wrong move for her and whoever her publicist is according to some Twitter response.
It was looking like the writer has no idea how that particular social network works and how unprepared she was to get cyber bullied by a lot of Twitter users. Buzz Feed has screenshot some of the questions that people on Twitter threw on James and most if not all of them are degrading, sarcastic, rude and just plain mean.
Marianne Hassle (@tinyork) asked her, "How on earth did Ana manage to graduate from university in the 21t century without an email address or a laptop?"
Mirror also learned about the almost cyber-bullying situation that the best selling author experienced when she invited people to ask her. Even celebrities like Ricky Gervais couldn't help but get on board with the drama. Other Twitter users even think that the author have started blocking other accounts due to the mean and rude remarks she was getting.
People started telling her that she was such a bad writer aside from totally dissing her idea of the whole context that she had for her book. But despite of all the hate the author received from people, she still responded to some who asked her about her book and graciously thanked those who participated.
