Harry Styles Net Worth: Will the One Direction Singer Play Frank Sinatra in Scorsese Helmed Biopic?

Is One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles plotting a move to Hollywood? The Birmingham Mail has reported that the 21 year old Englishman, currently valued at $23 million, is being tipped to play legendary crooner Frank Sinatra in a film directed by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese.

The newspaper reports that Styles competition for the role of Ol' Blue Eyes will be fierce. Established names such as frequent Scorsese collaborator Leonardo Dicaprio, recent Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne, Oscar nominee James Franco, and singer/actor Justin Timberlake are those thought to be in the running for the part.

The paper quotes an anonymous Hollywood Insider who says:: "If Harry can master character acting on top of being the great singer we all know he is, there's no reason why this can't be the platform that launches him as a major movie star.

The claim has been refuted by Styles' representatives in a statement made to OK! Magazine. Styles' said that the rumours are untrue

The news of Styles' desire to break into film comes during a trying period for him and his bandmates in One Direction.

After founding member Zayn Malik left the group in March of this year, sources close to the group have said the remaining four are no longer a solid unit. Music-news.com reports that Styles is tired of the lifestyle and the pressure that comes with being in One Direction.

"It's like he's stuck in the rock'n'roll lifestyle," Says the piece, quoting an insider close to the band. "It used to be so much fun, but he's beginning to feel unfulfilled. And the exhaustion is starting to show."

Some have said that the band's time is running out and a break up may happen sooner rather than later.
