Nicki Minaj's Mom Goes Up On Stage During BET Awards

Nicki Minaj may have had Meek Mill as her date at the 2015 BET Awards on Sunday, but she brought her mom onstage to accept her big award. The 32-year-old rapper was joined onstage by her look-alike mom when she won the award for best female hip-hop artist, beating out Iggy Azalea, Azaelia Banks, and more.

"I always talk about my mommy and this is the first time the world is going to see her," Minaj said as she accepted her award, introducing viewers to her mom, Carol. The Truffle Butter hitmaker accepted the award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the award show held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

She later took home one of the biggest prizes of the night, the Coca-Cola Viewers Choice Award, but had to ask Zendaya, who presented the award, what the actual category was. The Starships hitmaker had a good sense of humour about the flub as she laughed about it and ended her acceptance speech with a positive message to all her fans. Nicki along with Chris Brown are the most nominated performers, with six nods apiece, making them the artists to beat across board in the music categories.

P. Diddy made his first public appearance since his arrest earlier in the week on Monday for an altercation with his son's college football coach. But his return to the limelight may have not gone as expected as he took a tumble during his performance. The 45-year-old rapper was joined by several artists on his Bad Boy Records company to celebrate the 20th anniversary for the label but took an unexpected fall in the middle of the stage show. He was also joined on stage by several rappers and singers from the label including: Mase, 112, Lil Kim, Faith Evans and even Khloe Kardashian's on/off beau French Montana.

While performing hit track It's All About The Benjamins (Remix), Diddy jaunted across the stage to make way for rapper Jadakiss when he fell straight on his backside due to a hole on the platform. He did make a quick recovery as he got up and continued with the medley. That was not his only flub of the night as he stumbled on his words while presenting legendary crooner Smokey Robinson with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
