Sean "Diddy" Combs' Nasty Fall At BET Awards

Sean 'Diddy' Combs took a tumble on Sunday at the BET Awards in Los Angeles during his first public appearance since being arrested at his son's college. The 45-year-old rapper slipped and fell into what appeared to be a hole in the stage while performing during the awards ceremony at the downtown Microsoft Theater.

To make matters worse, later when he presented an award, he flubbed his lines and had to ask the teleprompter to re-wind. He took to the stage joined by several artists on his Bad Boy Records company to celebrate the label's 20th anniversary. He was performing the hit track It's All About The Benjamins (Remix) and jaunted across the stage to make room for rapper Jadakiss. Diddy was at the front of the stage and was strutting back when he unexpectedly tripped and fell flat on his back.

He recovered quickly and was joined on stage by several rappers and singers from the label including:Mase, 112, Lil Kim, Faith Evans and even Khloe Kardashian's on/off beau French Montana.

The rapper later flubbed his lines while presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to 75-year-old Smokey Robinson. He apologized to the crowd after stumbling on his words and said he was 'nervous' due to celebrating 20 years of Bad Boy music. The rapper gathered himself and asked the production to rewind the teleprompter to the start of the speech because he wanted to 'do it right for Smokey'.

Diddy was arrested last Monday on the UCLA campus after an alleged altercation with the football team's strength coach Sal Alosi at an athletics facility. His son Justin Combs, 21, plays for the UCLA football team as a defensive back.

The incident occurred after a voluntary practice in which Alosi reportedly kicked Diddy's son off the field during a workout. Diddy allegedly swung a kettlebell during the altercation in Alosi's office. Police watched a security video before arresting the music producer.
