For Microsoft, the creator of the well-known Xbox, the month of July indicates the second anniversary of their program 'Games with Gold'. As the event date is fast approaching, the game developer will be letting Xbox Live gold members know what games they can get for free.
Major Nelson, Microsoft's director for gaming network Xbox Live, revealed on his official blog that Xbox owners can anticipate enjoyable offerings during July's 'Games with Gold'. Nelson, who is also called Larry Hryb, unveils the software freebies a little earlier than expected.
Will Tuttle, Xbox editor in chief also stated in a blog post that the said program is one of their ways of saying thank you to all of the avid Xbox fans.
"As a special thank you to our members and all Xbox fans, we're announcing that starting in July, Gold members get more with two new Games with Gold every month on Xbox One!" the Xbox editor wrote.
Starting this July, the multinational company will provide four free new games every month to members who are subscribed to the gold package. For only $60, users will receive two games for the Xbox One and another two for the Xbox 360, making it a total of 48 games in a year if the program continues.
The games that will be offered by Microsoft in the month of July are "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag" which is regarded as an open-world exploration game, and the game "So Many Me" for Xbox One and "Gears of War 3" and "Plants vs. Zombies" for Xbox 360 owners.
The electronics company also provides other deals and arrangements. For $349, the gaming enthusiasts will receive game packages which may include the special "Halo: The Master Chief" collection bundle. This will include the Halo collection and another free game of their own choice, and a gift card worth $50 which can be used to buy another title.
