The producers of 'Game of Thrones' appear to have done the right thing by ending the season finale with the death of the beloved character Jon Snow (Kit Harington). In doing so, they have left fans with a mystery to solve and a new pastime: finding evidence that Jon Snow is alive.
Fans have gone out of their way to disprove the character's death and prove that Jon Snow is alive and well, and will possibly return in the next season.
[SPOILERS, SPOILERS EVERYWHERE]
The revelation of the fifth season's 'Beautiful Death' through Twitter was a startling snub of Jon Snow's demise.

The 'Beautiful Death' series chose to highlight Stannis Baratheon's death instead of the Lord Commander's murder by the Night's Watch. Although Stannis was indeed an important character, fans felt that if Jon Snow indeed is dead, the 'Beautiful Death' series should have chosen to feature his demise.
The recent announcement of the 'Game of Thrones' cast who will appear in the Comic Con panel has also been pointed out. There is a long tradition of newly dead characters showing up at the Comic Con lineup, but this year, Kit Harington will be absent from the panel.
Fans claim that if Jon Snow is no longer in the series, the actor should be able to attend Comic Con.
Kit Harington's hair has even been used to point out Jon Snow's possible return. Although the actor had previously cut his curls for his role in 'Testament of Youth,' the recent photographs of Harington show that his hair is still the same length as Jon Snow's.

The still unresolved mystery of Jon Snow's parents has also been cited as a reason behind his resurrection. Benioff and Weiss have previously revealed that George R.R. Martin allowed them to create the series after they correctly answered the author's question about Jon Snow's parents. Fans believe that the truth has yet to be revealed, and that the revelation would be in naught if Jon Snow truly is dead.
