According to The Mirror, a source close to Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva has stated that the two have been going out for about a year, but have kept things very low key for now - however, it's been reported that the Spanish socialite lives between Manhattan and Madrid and he's gone to the Spanish capital a few times to visit.

Silva, 32, is the daughter of Spanish businessman Ignacio Silva, who was once a financial vice president of the Real Madrid F.C., one of the most important soccer clubs in the world - so it's fair to say that Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva do very well financially without each other, so she can't be accused of being a "gold digger."
People Magazine reports that Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva were first spotted together at a red carpet event, the 61st Annual Taormima Film Festival in Sicily, making their first official appearance as a couple in the event, where the "Chicago" and "Pretty Woman" actor was honored with an award.
After the serious red carpet event was over, the two took off for an Italian holiday, where they were pictured enjoying each other's company with a lot of PDA!
