Find Out Which Marvel Characters Were Easter Eggs in Marvel TV Shows and Movies [SPOILERS]

New characters have been popping up in Marvel films and TV shows. An entire slew of new characters will appear in the upcoming 'Captain America: Civil War' as well as the Netflix series 'Daredevil.'

These appearances shouldn't come as a surprise. After all, Marvel has been hinting on the characters in most of the past movies.

The Youtube channel Mr Sunday Movies has always kept an eye out for Easter Eggs, or hidden messages in films. The channel has just released a video that reveals the references to characters in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' 'Daredevil,' 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' and 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

The quick description of the video reads:

"Easter Eggs are rife in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially when it comes to hinting at characters we have yet to see. This video is on that."

The video starts with The Punisher, who has been confirmed to appear in the second season of 'Daredevil.' Frank Castle will be played by Jon Bernthal, and clues on his future appearance have been hidden in 'Daredevil' and 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier.'

Thor's host Donald Blake has also been referred to in the first 'Thor' movie, as Jane Foster's ex-boyfriend. Donald Blake's identity is later assumed by Thor in the film and the reference to his name suggests that the character might soon make an appearance in the MCU.

Black Panther is one character who has been referred to since the release of 'Captain America: The First Avenger.' The Captain's shield is made out of vibranium, a metal that is only found in T'Challa's country, Wakanda. The appearance of Black Panther's nemesis Ulysses Klaw (Andy Serkis) in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is a true sign that T'Challa will finally make an appearance soon.

Black Panther will be played by Chadwick Boseman in 'Captain America: Civil War,' which will be released on May 6, 2016.
