Adam Sandler Rose McGowan: Why Is ‘Charmed’ Actress Calling ‘Happy Gilmore’ Sexist?

Public image-wise, it hasn't been the best year for the "SNL" alum so far, as only a couple of months back, Native American extras of his upcoming film "The Ridiculous Six" quit over his racist portrayal of their culture, and now it's Adam Sandler and Rose McGowan not getting along, as Marilyn Manson's ex-girlfriend accuses him of sexism.

In a recent Twitter post against Adam Sandler, Rose McGowan revealed that he'd recently released a casting note for an upcoming film that was quite sexist, saying that actresses opting for the role had to show cleavage and tight jeans or leggings, as well as only dark clothing.

According to E! Online, the Adam Sandler Rose McGowan rant saw the 41 year-old Hollywood brunette sharing a photo of the script's notes for an upcoming Sandler project - one that he's presumed to have written himself - calling him out on sexist behavior.

Entertainment Tonight reports that, while the Adam Sandler Rose McGowan didn't mention the comedian by name, it might as well have after he was described as being a "male" actor whose name "rhymes with Madam Panhandler," so that should settle exactly who the person in question is.

"Please make sure to read the attached script before coming in so you understand the context of the scenes," read the Adam Sandler Rose McGowan note published on her Twitter account, according to The Mary Sue. "Wardrobe note: Black (or dark) form-fitting tank that shows off cleavage (push-up bras encouraged). And form fitting leggings or jeans. Nothing white."

Besides the scandal with Native Americans last spring, the "Grown Ups" actor was also recently in the midst of controversy after attending a photocall for his latest film, "Transylvania Hotel 2," in sweatpants, while female co-star Selena Gomez wore a very elegant red silk dress, prompting controversy on clothing standards for men and women in Hollywood.

The actor hasn't commented on the Adam Sandler Rose McGowan tweet.
