In case it wasn't enough that Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are two of the most ridiculously attractive people in Hollywood, it turns out the couple, having proven how very very much in love they are on several occasions, also make that last effort for each other - including learning other languages!
Back in December, it was first reported that Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello had gotten engaged after being together for only a few months, and now the "True Blood" actor has revealed how it went down when he asked the Emmy nominee to be his wife: he did it in Spanish!
According to The Daily Mail, when the actor was planning how to set up Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello's engagement, he prepared a long speech in Spanish that he was very nervous about because obviously he doesn't speak the language, although he wanted to surprise "Modern Family" love by speaking in her native language.
People Magazine reports that the revelation of Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello's engagement came as the actor promoted his new film, the "Magic Mike" sequel, on a number of talk shows, including "Live! with Kelly and Michael" last Monday, when he gushed about proposing to the 42 year-old Latina.
"I had a big speech in Spanish, and that's what I was nervous about," the actor told Kelly Ripa. "The last thing you want to do is like mess up the Spanish on the proposal to the Colombian woman."
A few months after the Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello engagement, the actor's a bit fuzzy on the details of the speech, but he does remember three words from it, according to Cosmopolitan: "eres mi todo," which translates to "you are my everything" in her native language, unquestionably causing her to swoon!
Considering their busy schedules, the couple still hasn't set a date for the Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello wedding, but it will probably be a sweet and adorable affair!
