Pebble Time will release its latest smartwatch product featuring the latest features via preorder on Best Buy beginning Monday for $199.99.
The smartwatch's simple interface, comfy design, long battery life and always-on display make it a very captivating option. The user interface concentrates on a timeline view of the user's day and showcases not just the calendar, but many third-party apps like weather updates, breaking news and games.
The 'up' and 'down' buttons allow control over the watch.
The durability of the Pebble Time is undeniably incredible. The developer claims that the new watch is water-resistant even 30 meters underwater. It can also function in extreme heat and cold from 14 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
The device's screen can stay on all the time without using up battery power unlike other major brands that use LED screens that automatically go dim or turn off entirely when not in use. With this feature, the user can check on the watch to see notifications any time.
Compared to other products which is now hitting in stores, its battery can last up to seven days which is very convenient for users who are always on the move.
Besides helpful features, the smartwatch also motivates users to enjoy with its music controller. Pebble Time can work with music providers like Pandora and iHeartRadio.
Amidst the heat of smartwatch competition between major developers like Apple and Fitbit, Eric Migicovsky, CEO of Pebble believes that their product will also be a hit in the market.
"We're seeing pretty strong demand. We're just focused on making awesome products and getting them into people's hands and on their wrists," said the CEO.
Fitbit earned $37.80 in early market trading after its initial public release while the Apple Watch hit $2.8 million in sales.
The major retailer Best Buy will be the exclusive seller of the smartwatch for the next month.
