Kelly Osbourne was flooded with an unfavorable response after she posted a photo in Instagram that seems to be mocking the former NAACP Chapter President Rachel Dolezal.
The former Fashion Police co- host took a picture of herself and posted in Instagram, where she dressed and wore a wig to look like Rachel Dolezal, who allegedly lied of being black for nearly a decade.
The 30 year old captioned the post, "kellyosbourne#CallMeRachel #MyCasualLook"
Her controversial photo received mixed reaction from her followers after they saw the image, others thought of it funny while others found it rude.
It was just last week when Kelly Osbourne posted a side-by-side photo of Dolezal, the other side showed a light-skinned, younger Dolezal and the other side is her current look which was captioned, "This has utterly shocked me!!! It's a #WholeNewLevelOfWrong."
Rachel Dolezal was accused of pretending to be black, but she keeps on insisting that she never deceived anyone.
The issue arose after her parents claimed that their daughter, Rachel, is a "Caucasian by birth," with Czech, Swedish, German and a trace of Native American ancestry. However, she has been known to represent herself since the age of five, even on her official documents that she is black. She even denied that she's using any cosmetics just to have a dark complexion.
Then the 37 year old stepped down from her position as the President of NAACP Chapter after the spreading race scandal.
She told MSNBC's during her interview with Melissa Harris- Perry that changing her hair made her feel that she is much accepted as a black woman, "I always used to pull my hair back because I just didn't feel comfortable and then when I got braids, it was like just the smiles and OK, you know?"
