Celine Dion Looks Amazing In Her Gown While Her Husband Continues Battle With Cancer

Celine Dion looked amazing in her low-cut gown she wore in Las Vegas while performing a duet with Andrea Bocelli. The 47-year-old made the appearance for Keep Memory Alive's 19th annual Power Of Love Gala at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. A Benefit Event as such funds disease research, that hit close to home for the singer. Her husband René Angélil, 73, has been battling throat cancer since 1999.

The My Heart Will Go On singer wore a floor-length black gown as she took the stage.The dress flowed to her ankles and plunged around her cleavage, showing off her very slender frame. The Canadian wonder looked stunning with her auburn hair dangling in wavy curls.

In 1993, Celine released a cover of Jennifer Rush's The Power Of Love, which happens to be the title of the gala.The song became one of her staples as it appeared on her greatest hits compilation All The Way, A Decade Of Song. The song was also nominated for the Grammy Award's Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Joining the Because You Loved Me singer onstage was the Italian classical singer Bocelli. He wore a classic black suit and bow tie. At one point he took a knee, giving Celine the spotlight. Also present was his daughter Virginia who had on a cotton candy pink dress. Actress Sharon Stone stepped onstage as well. The Basic Instinct beauty wore a silky white gown that hung low from her arms. In 2014, Dion took an indefinite leave from the stage to care for her husband Angélil after he was diagnosed with cancer for a second time.

René was first diagnosed with throat cancer in 1999, and Celine also took a break at that time to help him recuperate. The couple has three sons together: René Charles, 14, and fraternal twins Eddy and Nelson, 4. After taking time off, Celine has announced her return to her Vegas residency. Celine claims that it was her husband, who was once her manager, that convinced her to return to the stage.
