Monumental Moments: What Went Down At The 2015 CMT Music Awards [WATCH]

This year's 2015 CMT Music Awards could have been called the 2015 Carrie Underwood Awards and no one would probably mind. The former "American Idol" contestant dominated the night by taking home three awards.

Not to mention, Underwood was dubbed as one of the best dressed celebs on the red carpet. Carrie now holds the most number of awards in the show's history with 13 CMT Music Awards.

Of course, no music awards show would be complete with live performances. Lady Antebellum, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Jake Owen, and Luke Bryan were some of the night's performers.

During Luke Bryan's performance, the singer found his way onto Charles Kelley's seat at the venue. The Lady Antebellum singer then stood up to do some thrusting... with his pelvis.

Every girl tuned into the awards show most likely shrieked from the unexpected moment. Watch the video below.

Zedd and Lady Antelbellum joined forces to show everyone that a mashup of EDM and country is actually pretty awesome. The performance was a great way to kick off the night.

Unfortunately, an awkward moment also surfaced during the event. As Kellie Pickler and Billy Ray Cyrus were about to present an award, the two awkwardly plugged their new shows and sort of got lost along the way.

However, the night's co-host Brittany Snow successfully and hilariously referenced her film "Pitch Perfect" at the start of the night as she humored the audience with the Belltones.

Last year's host Kristen Bell also made a cameo during the night. She recorded a video called "Kristen Bell's CMT Music Awards Hosting Advice" which was just hilarious.

The video started off with Bell saying, "Don't look Luke Bryan in the eyes, it's a beautiful lagoon and you'll drown in it." Watch more of the video below.
