Rapper Rick Ross got in trouble with the authorities when a police suspected him of carrying marijuana inside his Bentley at Fayetteville in Georgia on Wednesday, June 10.
People Magazine reported that William Leonard Roberts II who is widely known as Rick Ross was booked into jail when an officer stopped him on Ga. 279 because of some issues regarding his tinted windows. The officer said he was allegedly violating the state's window tint rules as written on The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The officer smelled marijuana after the windows of his car was rolled down according to FOX News, making the cop even more suspicious that he went on to search Ross' vehicle for the substance.
The rapper's incident with alleged illegal drugs in that state also caught the attention of CNN, making them report that when Ross allowed to search his car, marijuana was indeed found. He was arrested after it and remained in jail until 11pm of Wednesday.
He was then released after giving a $2,400 worth of bond according to the county officials. The rapper's rep has not given any comment as of the moment to any press just yet.
This is not the first time Rick Rock was arrested for illegal possession of marijuana, just last year of the same month in North Carolina; he faced the same charges and even failed to show up on a hearing in connection to his marijuana arrest. He was sent to jail after rapping at the SuperJam Music Festival in Greensboro, but was bailed out after giving $1,000.
He was arrested multiple times for the same problem and among of his other records are the ones in Miami in 2008, in Louisiana back in 2011 and another one in North Carolina in 2013. All of these were sited by People Magazine.
