The US men's national team for soccer recently won against team Germany. The USMNT defeats Germany with a score of 2-1. The Germans took the the game early on. The US team was having a hard time but their Goalkeeper, Brad Guzan kept team USA alive with some solid saves. But Germany takes the first point in the 12th minute of the game. Mario Götze scores the first point for the Germans, but the US ties the game before halftime.
During the second half Jordan Morris entered with just over 15 minutes to go, and he made a big impact again, just barely missing on a great shot in the 75th minute. Bradley had the winning shot on his boot in the 84th minute, when a square from Yedlin set him up with an open shot from 12 yards, but Zieler made an excellent kick save.
It seemed as if everyone was okay with coasting to a draw until late substitute, Bobby Wood , shocked everyone by scoring the winning goal for the second consecutive game. He picked up a pass from Evans, turned away from his defender and placed a perfect shot into the bottom corner from 20 yards, giving his team yet another amazing result and another great win.
Germany nearly equalized in the last few minutes of extra time, but Sami Khedira's headed shot bounced harmlessly off the crossbar. It was a spectacular match one that is worth watching. The USMNT won over a team who were the 2014 FIFA world cup champions, and who are ranked number 1 in the world. Thought starting out the game poorly, team USA managed to pull through and make a comback in the end, ultimately gaining victory over the German team. We can only expect more exciting matches to come from these talented players
