X-Men Apocalypse: Bryan Singer Shares Evan Peters 'Quicksilver' Scene on Instagram [PHOTOS]

In 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' audiences were introduced to the speedy young mutant named Quicksilver, who was flawlessly played by 'American Horror Story' star Evan Peters. The character was responsible for one of the most memorable scenes in the movie, which perfectly showcased his speed and sense of humor.

It looks like a similar scene will be featured in the much-awaited sequel 'X-Men: Apocalypse.' The caption reads, "Just another day at the office. #Quicksilver #Xmen #XmenApocalypse."

Singer has also shared a picture of chairs that have been printed with the names of his stars. The photo went viral after fans noticed that Alex Summers' alias has been spelled wrong. Instead of 'Havok,' the chair has been labeled 'Alex Summers/Havoc.' The character will be played by Lucas Till.

Another photo went viral after the director posted the caption "Shooting Caliban's place of "business" #Xmen #XMenApocalypse." The picture confirmed speculations that Caliban will be one of the mutants who will appear in the film.

There are several other rumors surrounding 'X-Men: Apocalypse,' including those involving a Wolverine cameo. Hugh Jackman, who portrays the adamantium-clawed antihero, was recently asked if he will appear in the sequel. The actor simply responded, "Who knows?"

'X-Men: Apocalypse' also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Rose Byrne.

The newcomers to the franchise include 'Game of Thrones' actress Sophie Turner, Lana Condor, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Tye Sheridan and Olivia Munn.

The mutants will return to the big screen on May 27, 2016.
