Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen was hospitalized on Monday night due to food poisoning that he got from clams.
ABC got a hold of the actor's rep, Jeff Ballard, confirming that it was from bad clams and there's nothing too exciting about it. Sheen, who is known for his stint in "Two and a Half Man" ate some seafood pasta that day, which resulted in him feeling sick came Monday night.
There is nothing serious to worry about, but just to be safe, the actor went to the hospital to be sure as well. He was discharged after the doctors checked him and hydrated him. Ballard continued saying he was back home in bed after 90 minutes.
San Jose Mercury News couldn't help but get on the news about Sheen being present in the media again. They said that it's been a while since the people have heard about him and it is a must that they too get a cover of what just happened with the TV star. Even though his rep told the press that there's "nothing too exciting" to report about Sheen's condition, the publication begged to disagree since the actor's records on making news has been the complete opposite.
It just goes to show that any news about him would still be fascinating. The actor has been the content of tabloids from his cocaine addiction to his meltdown on national TV after being let go from "Two and a Half Man." This update about him is definitely a mellow one.
People Magazine said that there are no words as of the moment on how exactly the clams have poisoned Sheen, but one thing is for sure and that's the fact that he is fine. The 49-year-old actor even took an exclusive photo op with the magazine along with the paramedics.
