See John Oliver Give a Toast to Sepp Blatter, Chug Bud Light on Camera [VIDEO]

It's no secret that British comedian and satirist John Oliver has been critical of FIFA's activities. In the run up to last year's World Cup in Brazil, Oliver launched a scathing attack on football's highest governing body, condemning them for their corrupt practices. Two weeks ago, when the US Justice Department indicted FIFA on charges of racketeering and bribery Oliver, a huge soccer fan, again took aim at the organization releasing another expose on his weekly HBO show 'Last Week Tonight'.

In his most recent FIFA piece, Oliver vowed to showcase the products of key FIFA sponsors such as Budweiser, Adidas, and McDonalds on air if they would pull their support for FIFA and their newly re-elected president, Sepp Blatter.

"Please, make Sepp Blatter go away. I will do anything," he said. "Adidas, I will wear one of your ugly shoes that make me look like the Greek god of aspiring DJs. McDonalds, I will take a bite out of every item on your dollar menu, which tastes like normal food that was cursed by a vindictive wizard. And I will even make the ultimate sacrifice. Budweiser, if you pull your support and help get rid of Blatter, I will...personally drink one of your disgusting items...It can be a Bud Light. I will even drink a Bud Light Lime, despite the fact that all the lime in the world cannot disguise the fact that this tastes like a puddle beneath a Long John Silver's dumpster. Claimed Oliver on the May 31 episode of his show.

Well it seems like John Oliver is indeed a man of his word.

On yesterday's episode of Last Week Tonight, nearly a week after Sepp Blatter resigned as president of FIFA, Oliver made good on his word to FIFA's sponsors.

Oliver put his feet on his desk to highlight the Adidas Sneakers he was wearing. He then proceeded to take a bite out of every item on McDonald's $1 menu. The big moment was when Oliver downed an entire bottle of Bud Light Lime on stage, but not before talking a few jabs at the beverage.
