Zoe Saldana gushes over husband, Marco Perego when he decided to take her last name, instead of the other way around, and that he doesn't care what other people think of this move.
The Guardians of the Galaxy actress shared in her In-Style Magazine interview that the thought of her husband using her last name was not really a brilliant idea. She tried to talk him out of it saying, "If you use my name, you're going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world."
The actress told the magazine her husband just looked at her saying, "Ah, Zoe, I don't give a s-t!"
Saldana married the Italian artist in a secret, non-traditional and intimate wedding on June 2013 in London. She gave birth to twin boys last November, and the couple named them Cy Ardio and Bowie Ezio.
US Weekly reports that the actress has lowered her guard when it comes to her husband. "When we had our boys, I looked at my husband and I realized: I was meant for you and you were meant for me. I've always felt comfortable around men as long as they were friends. Now I finally feel comfortable with my lover. I don't want to be separate. I want my church. I want to live inside the religion of our own little family."
After the birth of her twins, which she considers as the most amazing experience of her life, the actress also said she was struggling with her post-pregnancy changes and was trying hard to get back to her sexy shape. The Avatar actress added that her husband has been very supportive by encouraging her to take her time and not to be too hard on herself.
The mother of two has previously pointed out that her body has changed forever, that it has become softer and stronger.
