Man Desperately Looks For Love, Pays $713,975 To Fortuneteller

In New York, a 32-year-old man went broke after spending all his money on a fortune teller's services in hopes of making a girl who has already rejected him, fall in love with him. Psychic Priscilla Kelly Delmaro is facing charges of grand larceny and was sentenced to jail.

The New York Times reports Police officers arrested the 26-year-old fortune teller and her partner, 27-year-old Bobby Evans after a customer has reportedly spent a total of $713,975, just to be with his so-called "Twin Flame."

It was during the summer of 2013 when a successful bachelor, who owns an office in New York, was going through a melancholic time over an unrequited love. He then started paying for spiritual love guidance on August 2013 at "Psychic," located on 253 West 43rd Street, across Williamsburg Bridge.

For the first few times, the man spent $28,000 per visit so the fortuneteller can block negative spirits, claiming these energies are hindrances to their souls' romance. Delmaro also then asked for a diamond ring that the man bought from Tiffany's for $40,064 to protect his energy, assuring him he is going to use it as an engagement ring when he proposes someday.

The love of his life, Michelle, who lives in Los Angeles had been clearly rejecting his invites, even after he flew across the country when the fortune teller advised him to go after her.

Still not enough to fight the spirits that have been blocking the man and Michelle's souls to unite, the fortune teller was paid another $40,000 to deceive the spirits of the man's fake death, just for them to stop stalking him.

The man then found out from Facebook in February 2014 that Michelle has died.

In a statement filed, the man wrote Delmaro told him that she will reincarnate Michelle to a 31-year-old woman's body, so she asked for a $30,000-worth Rolex watch as time machine, and additional $80,000 for the psychic to build a golden bridge and lure the spirits away.

After spending more than $320,000, the man reportedly ran out of money and went all the way to selling his car and loaning money from friends, relatives, and colleagues, just to keep up with the fortune teller's pieces of advice and rituals.

When told that the new Michelle was in Los Angeles, he again flew all the way to find her, but met a 24-year-old woman instead. Until then, he realized Michelle was not in her body.

"This caused me to start thinking that Delmaro wasn't everything she was purporting to be," he wrote.

After losing his apartment, the man flew back to New York. He then hired a private investigator after finding out in his bank statements that he has spent more than $700,000 because of a fortune teller's deception.

On May 26, Delmaro and Evans were arrested in a restaurant in Manhattan. Delmaro's lawyer denied the man's allegations.
