As it has been widely reported in the media over the past few years, the "What I Like About You" star has had a string of difficulties with the law as she battles mental illness issues, but the latest information of how Amanda Bynes is now shows a lot of hope for the former star.
For the first time in three months, Amanda Bynes is now appearing in public once again, as paparazzi spotted her going out to dinner and looking healthy, as she's kept a very low profile since leaving a psychiatric facility late last year.
According to E! Online, Amanda Bynes now seems to be on the right track to gaining her life back, as she was spotted leaving Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood earlier this week, accompanied by two people as she wore her hair very long and blond.
As Yahoo! Celebrity reports, Amanda Bynes now seems to be at a much better place than she was late last year, when she was placed in a psychiatric facility after accusing her father of having sexually abused her and placing a chip in her head - though she still doesn't have full control over her medical needs and finances, as her parents retain conservatorship.
As Amanda Bynes now seems to be doing much better, Us Weekly spoke to her attorney, David Esquibias, who says she's "great" and appreciates all the support she's getting from her family, fans and friends - while still keeping her personal life on the private side.
Bynes' last film was the 2010 high school romantic comedy "Easy A," which drove Emma Stone to superstardom; however, Bynes herself chose to keep away from acting and focus on her fashion career, first saying she had "retired" from acting and then ultimately saying she was only taking some time off.
At the end of this month, a judge will decide if Amanda Bynes is now fit to manage her own finances, as she has a hearing scheduled for late June.
