The 1975 Not Splitting Up, Releasing New Album and Tour Dates

The 1975 have put the split rumors to rest as they announced via their social media profiles that they will be putting out a new single, album and going on tour in the UK in November

Speculations rose when the Cheshire-based band posted a seemingly typewritten note with random images Sunday. Shortly after, all the members deactivated their Twitter accounts and shut down their official Facebook profile and website.

"The hardest part of any relationship is to say goodbye. As much as we like things to stay the same, change is an inevitable part of life. We can't simply go on forever - always staying the same, never evolving. So we must leave, with a parting 'we love you' - we are already gone," according to the note.

Fans were in a daze minutes after the tweet was sent, with many replying with questions directed to the band. A few began to ask whether the bland is splitting up, expressing both fear and confusion.

The 'Chocolate' singers finally came back online sporting new pink profile photos which are the opposite of their old black-and-white shots.

The also posted a new note, signed personally by frontman Matt Healy. It starts off with a revelation of plans for the second album, symbolizing, "the end of the most inspiring and challenging time that we've ever shared as friends and as artists."

"This is the beginning of a new chapter for The 1975. Our record signifies the start of the new world for us," the letter continues.

They also lamented about playing shows that are not only big, but will be memorable for themselves and their legions of fans. This is why they have settled on beginning a tour in the UK, as this was where their career in the music industry really took off.
