There seems to be an ongoing theme for brands and celebrities lately. Quite recently, Bruce Jenner has been reintroduced as Caitlyn Jenner on the cover of Vanity Fair. Transgender model Andreja Pajic has also been named as the new face of Make Up For Ever.
Now, Adidas just released a colorful lineup of their signature sneaks. Called the "Pride Pack," the collection follows Nike and Levi's move to redesign its classic staples to celebrate LGBT Pride Month.
The "Pride Pack" features three signature Adidas designs: the Stan Smith, the Adilette Slide, and the Superstar. The limited edition collection gathers inspiration from the LGBT rainbow flag, as stated in press materials via Huffington Post.
The famous flag aims to be "a symbol of equality and inclusiveness that signifies the diversity of the LGBT community." So it's highly expected that these brand giants, including Adidas, aim to celebrate that equality and LGBT pride.
The Adidas Stan Smith features a "white leather upper with multicolored Three Stripes branding," as described by Jonathan Sawyer of High Snobiety. The sneaker is then topped off with rainbow-gradient laces, retailing for $100.

On the other hand, The Adidas Superstar is similar in terms of a white leather material. A splattered paint effect of rainbow colors is featured at the sides of the shoe. The Superstar sneakers retail for $100.
When walking together, each step forward matters. A portion of the proceeds from the adidas Originals Pride Pack will go to New Avenues for Youth. Available June 6 online and at select adidas Originals locations. #Superstar A photo posted by adidas Originals (@adidasoriginals) on Jun 1, 2015 at 10:59am PDT
Similar to the Superstar, the Adilette Slide also boasts of a splattered paint effect against a black base. The slide costs $50.
A percentage from the sales will be donated to Portland's New Avenues for Youth. The advocacy group based in Oregon aims to support homeless lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender adolescents and teenagers.
Adidas is also sponsoring Portland Monthly's annual Pride Month event on June 11 called "Flare." The overhauled designs will be launched on Saturday, June 6. They will be available at Adidas Originals stores and authorized retailers.
