Famous rapper Snoop Dogg bashes Caitlyn Jenner's recent media attention using his Instagram account on June 3, Wednesday.
Unlike other celebrities who have deleted their opinions when the media or other people have something against what they said, the 43-year-old rapper stuck with his post and it's still very much visible for the public to see. Some of his fans agreed with him, while others started hating and even threatened to throw a hotdog at him should he visit their town.
The photo that he posted has singer Akon on it with words that pertain to his recent work, providing free solar energy to 600 million Africans. He was upset that Caitlyn is not real news. Snoop thinks that Caitlyn Jenner is a science project that is getting all the publicity. He even captioned it saying, "News flash. @akon tune in to ggn for some real news."
Caitlyn Jenner (former Bruce Jenner) came out with her brand new identity as she appears on the cover of critically acclaimed fashion magazine, Vanity Fair on Tuesday, June 2. She has received a lot of compliments from different personalities about the bravery of being who she really think she is in the public. Yahoo Lifestyle said that even the U.S. President Obama has something commending to say about it with his words, "It takes courage to share your story" on his Twitter post.
The meme that the rapper posted also got the attention of Radio.com. They said that he probably meant it to be noble, acknowledging the work of fellow musician Akon and the media overshadowing it because of the whole Jenner's story doesn't seem to be right. His intention was good for Akon to get the right kind of publicity, but the site didn't think he had to call Caitlyn Jenner a "science project," which is rather insulting and rude. According to them, he also refuses to call Jenner by her first name.
