Lego Released Minecraft Killer On Steam

LEGO has released their newest venture in the video gaming industry that could possibly undermine Minecraft. The Danish company created a game that is made exclusively of LEGO bricks which can be freely manipulated.

The game has undeniable similarities with Minecraft, which is a video game that involves breaking and placing blocks to create structures and items. The two have the same concept of free building using materials given to players in the game. Minecraft make use of boxes while LEGO uses the traditional connective bricks with different features and shapes.

Developers of the LEGO game announced that they already made the game available on Steam for just £11.99. However, they clarified that users can only play in a single mode for now since the game is still under development.

The full version is still not yet available as the company is still in the process of upgrading the game, which would take into account the early feedback that some fans have already posted on the Internet and social media.

They also ensured everyone that the game will have a multiplayer feature in the coming months.

In the recent version, the game features only a limited environment and a limited amount of Lego vehicles. In the upcoming update, they will make new environments like underground Cave networks, deserts and many others. Monsters and other computer-generated creatures will also be added in the game.

For a long time, LEGO focused on making physical toys that are sold in toy shops and other specialty stores. Now, through its partners, it has produced a video game and a movie adaptation entitled 'Dimensions'.

For years now, Minecraft has monopolized this unique type of gameplay. Now that Lego is in the business, many believe that it could possibly surpass the popularity of Minecraft in the virtual world as the brand itself is more established and well-known.
