Val Kilmer may have denied the rumors that he is suffering from throat tumor, but his frail appearance got fans worried about the actor's health.
Kilmer was spotted leaving Malibu Church over the weekend with two scarves wrapped around him, hiding his neck and a portion of his face as he left the service.
He was reportedly relying on his Christian Science faith to give him strength in facing his health problems.
He was wearing a pale blue long sleeved, a pair of beige slacks and some sporty gray trainers. His graying locks was swept into a rugged ponytail, showing off a clear view of his suddenly-aged face.
The actor was also seen carrying what many has described as a medical type bag with him.
Early this year, Val was rushed to the hospital after he was reportedly coughing up blood, then there were speculations that the actor was battling throat cancer.
The 55-year-old 'Batman' actor took to Facebook to end reports that he had throat tumor surgery.
“Thank you for all your sweet support. But I have not had a tumor, or a tumor operations, or any operation. I had a complication where the best way to receive care was to stay under the watchful eye of the ucla ICU,” the 55-year-old actor wrote on social media.
He finished his statement showing gratitude to his Christian Scientist friends for keeping his life out of gossip.
"Friends have assisted who know my spiritual convictions and have been most sensitive and kind for the extra effort in making sure there's minimum gossip and silly talk. I am praying for a speedy return to the boards as they say. God bless you all and please don't worry. Love and deep affection , Val"
Val Kilmer has opted to keep what ever health issues he is suffering from private despite the speculation.
