Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young proposed to Iggy Azalea during his 30th birthday party on Monday night in Los Angeles.
Nick got down on one knee and asked the 'Fancy' singer "Would you marry me?" then the rapper replied "Yes," and cheers from close friends that attended the birthday bash blasted the venue.
The ring has a 8.15-carat Fancy Intense Yellow cushion cut center stone with 2.28 carats of white diamonds set onto 18-karat white gold and is valued at $500,000.
The 24-year-old rapper was wearing a pale pink blouse and a pair of white trousers. She wore her hair sleek and straight underneath her trendy pink hat.
This is a positive new chapter for Iggy's personal life following the cancellation of her The Great Escape tour, weeks after postponing the live tour dates.
Ticket holders were alerted through email and received the disappointing news: "The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour scheduled for this fall has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase. There will be a new tour planned around Iggy‘s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience."
Iggy, whose real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly, initially planned to hit the road early this year but decided to re-schedule the tour for September before it was totally cancelled.
"It is bumped back because I am a psychopath. It is my first arena tour, so it's a big undertaking and I'm doing a lot of the creative direction, which I do for everything. It's tough when it's your first time working on an arena situation," the singer explained.
The cancellation of the tour was supposedly because of her falling out with her management team. The Australian musician has yet to comment on the rumors.
Her tour might be on hold but her love life is in full swing.
